OUR WORK

We have gathered scientists and research centers from different areas of knowledge since 2015 to produce, organize, translate and apply scientific findings in favor of achieving comprehensive education.

By connecting knowledge from major innovation centers and leading researchers in Brazil and around the world, we form a network whose mission is to contemplate and propose a new form of education based on science, and taken to public policies and pedagogical practices in the classroom.

The 21st century has led to changes and transformations that accelerate the need to train citizens that are prepared to deal with an extremely dynamic world and with complex issues. Based on science, it is possible to identify which characteristics are most relevant for developing autonomously in this context.

In addition, it is possible to analyze how they develop, and which policies and practices are most efficient so that we can actually achieve the objective of preparing students who can live up to their full potential.

Therefore, we make sure that Ayrton Senna Institute’s initiatives are developed based on evidence, and that our knowledge is presented in an attractive and understandable manner to everyone who makes education happen – educators, administrators and public policy makers.

Our research focuses on subjects linked to the concept of comprehensive education, observing the cognitive, social and emotional, hybrid, motivational dimensions and other personal aspects of students and educators.

WORK AS A NETWORK

We believe that the collective construction of knowledge is fundamental in science, and, in the case of education, this is no different. Therefore, we work with a group of researchers, associates and advisors, and we also connect with other research and innovation centers, promoting partnerships in different models.

Through cooperation agreements, we also work directly with external researchers, or carry out joint projects with organizations and postgraduate centers. In addition, we also carry out actions with specific consultants, and, through analysis, we promote licensing for the use of assessments and methodologies that have been created by eduLab21.
