What is eduLab21?
Building a more inclusive world and expanding knowledge frontiers is an effort based on science and innovation. Expanding these concepts to all areas of expertise has never been so essential, particularly education, one of the most far-reaching tools to transform society.
Supported by that belief, we created Ayrton Senna Institute’s science laboratory for education that, for more than 25 years, has been committed to promoting the development of Brazilian students and educators. We are a research center specialized in producing and organizing scientific evidence at the service of innovative and transformative education, while investigating topics related to the development of human potential.
The Institute, which works with evidence in education since 2015, is formed by scientists and research centers from diverse innovation-driven areas of knowledge. We are committed to producing, translating and applying science findings to the classroom environment, proposing reflection and new education models. We also look outwards and learn from other scientists. The Institute is a network that connects knowledge from major innovation centers and leading researchers from around the world.
Our Work
We strive to ensure that the initiatives of the Ayrton Senna Institute are always developed based on evidence and reach those who make education happen - public policy makers, managers and educators - in an attractive and understandable way.
Integral education is the focus point of our research agenda. We are always seeking to learn more about contributions from cognitive, socioemotional, hybrid, and motivational competencies of educators and students. In other words:
We Work in a Close Network
We are a network of educational professionals and scientists who work together in a variety of ways. Partnerships can be established directly with professors at stricto sensu graduate centers by means of institutions and organizations or researchers’ networks.
Besides the researchers that are part of the team, the laboratory is open to various forms of cooperation with associated researchers. This partnership can occur by licensing of eduLab21 instruments and methodologies to other researchers for studies in projects with the participation of consultants on specific topics or academic work groups that contribute to the research agenda.
